In $\triangle{XYZ}$, $\angle{Z}=90^{\circ}$, $\cos{Y}=\frac{7}{25}$, and $XY=25$. What is $\tan{X}$?

Cos Y = adjecent side / hypotenuse = 7 / 25

 

If XY = 25, then YZ=7, and using Pythagorean theorum, we know that XZ = 24

tan X = opposite side / adjecent side = $\boxed{\dfrac7{24}}$
