rob is finishing a floor with square tiles.Each tile has an area of 412 cm squared .Estimate the length of the side of each tile .

So we have.........

412cm2 = s2

To find the side length, we would take the square root of 412

But, the square root of 412 must be between 20 and 21, because 202 = 400 and 212 = 441

So the side length estimate is between 20 and 21 cm in length
