Erving Spencer makes a salary of $24,000 per year and he is paid biweekly. If his employer puts 6.5% into his pension, how much goes into the pension every paycheck?

If he is paid biweekly, he receives 26 paychecks per year....so ....the amount of each paycheck is  24000 / 26 ≈ $923.08

And the amount put into the pension per paycheck =   923.08 * .065 ≈  $60.00
