Say im drilling a well -30 degrees. at 190ft measured depth how far horizontally have i traveled

I'm assuming that 190 is the vertical component (the opposite side of the 30 angle) ...  and we're looking for the adjacent side......so we have

tan (30) = 190/adjacent

adjacent  = 190/tan(30) ≈ 329.1 ft.
