How many seconds does it go before v= 0?

vf=vo + at

0 = 25 + (-1.47) t     yields t=17 seconds

 

How FAR does it go in 17 seconds?

xf=xo + vo t + 1/2 at^2     (xo = 0 in this example)

xf= 25(17) + 1/2 (-1.47)(17^2)      yields   distance = xf = 212.58 meters
