It's actually a science question: One cup of water contains 250 mL. 1 liter =1,000 milliliters

250 /1,000 =1/4 of a Liter.

                 1 ml

Answer: .250 Liters

 

Step 1: Find the conversion from ml to L. 

Step 2: Make a table like so and plug in the numbers.

Step 3: Multiply and Divide; multiply the top numbers and divide the bottom numbers

 

 

Step 4: Depending on your teacher, if you have to change the answer to significant figures than in this case... 

             Answer: .250 Liters

             Sig Figs: 2.50 x 10^-1 Liters
