One of the standard sizes of rectangular gold bars is 5 cm wide by 6 cm high by 20 cm long. The actual density of gold is 19.3 grams/cm3, but you may use a value of 20 grams/cm3 to make the calculations easier
The bar's volume = 5 x 6 x 20 cm3 = 600 cm3
Weight of bar is
600 cm3 x 20 gm/cm3 = ......... gm (see how the cm3 cancels and you are left with gm ?)
