Multiply the number by the number:

1.34 x 4.5   =   6.03          which should be rounded to  6.0  because there are only two siginificant digits in 4.5

Now, multiply the exponent by the exponent:

10^8 x 10^6   =   10^14                 (add exponents)

So the answer is:   6.0 x 10^14
