what is the result of 2,5x10^12 / 5x10^6?

2.5*10^12/5*10^6

 

2.5/5=0.5

 

from the exponents, 10^12/10^6,  we subtract the exponents because the expression was dividing

12-6= 6.........10^6

 

answer = 0.5*10^6
