I suppose you looked for the zeroes of (x^2-9)/ 3x = 0
what about -3 ? (note that x cannot equal zero....because the denominator would be 0)
x^2 - 9/(3x) = 0 maybe??
3x^3 = 9
x^3 =3
\(x =\sqrt[3]{3}\)
