Am I doing this right? I am so confused. (See the parts I didn't fill out)

Task 2: Mean Weights

Suppose you have a large amount of weights that weigh either 3kg or 8kg.

Myra claims that two 3kg weights and three 8kg weights have a mean weight of 6kg.

1. Prove that her claim is correct: (3+3+8+8+8) 5 = 6

2. Can you find other combinations of 3kg and 8kg weights whose mean weight is a whole number of kg?

four 3kg and six 8kg

What's the smallest mean weight you found? ________

What's the largest mean weight you found?  ________

3. Suppose you have a different supply of weights to combine: 2kg and 7kg. List all of the whole-number means you can find: 2+7+7+7+7=305=6, 2+2+7+7+7=255=5, 2+2+2+7+7=205=4, 2+2+2+2+7= 155=3

4. Generalize your findings: When given two weights, what do you know about the possible means you might be able to find?
