Notice the second term is 9 more than the first....

the 27th term will be  26 * 9    bigger than the first

       1 +  26*9 = a27  = ___________

19 - 10 = 9

10 - 1 = 9

the 27th term is 1 + 9 * (27 - 1)

which is 1 + 9*28

which is 253

the value of the 27th term is 253

*** EDITED ***

19 - 10 = 9

10 - 1 = 9

the 27th term is 1 + 9 * (27 - 1)

which is 1 + 9*26                                   (as first Guest posted)

which is 235

the value of the 27th term is 235
