Top of Sigma is P, bottom is K=1. Expression is \(10(3)^{k-1}\)
Determine maximum value of P for which the above will be <2300.
I calculated: T1=10, T2=30, T3=90, r=3
I thought to calculate the sum, determining P for the condition that the above is equal to 2300, and go from there.
So I said: \(Sn={a(r^n-1)} \over n-1\)
Substituting all info, I later get:
\(230n-229=3^n\)
From here I'm stuck
