Silstar's fraction question

You need to ask your questions on the forum, maybe you did and I just can't find it :)

If      3/14 + 5/14 how is the answer 4/7

$\frac{3}{14}+\frac{5}{14}=\frac{3+5}{14}=\frac{8}{14}=\frac{8\div2}{14\div 2}=\frac{4}{7}$
