Similar Triangles

Thank you so much Chris, no worries, here is what I got

DC   = 6

So

CE + DE  = 6

2DE + DE  = 6

3DE  = 6

DE = 2

Since DE is parallel to AB  in triangle FAB..then

AB /AF   = DE /DF

6 / [  AD + DF ] = 2 / DF

6 / [ 6 + DF]    = 2 /DF

6DF = 2 [ 6 + DF]

6DF = 12 + 2DF

4DF  = 12

DF = 3

So  angle EDF is right and its area = 1/2  * (DE * DF)  = (1/2)(2 * 3)   = 3 units^2

It says 2 is wrong, can you please help me throug with your answer
