Determine where f(x) intersects the x-axis ( f(x) = 0 ).

f(x) = 2x^2+10x+12

\(\begin{array}{rcl} &2x^2+10x+12 &=& 0\\ &2(x^2+5x+6) &=& 0\\ \text{Factorisation }& 2(x+2)(x+3) &=& 0\\ &x_1 &=& -2\\ &x_2 &=& -3 \end{array}\)
