Do you think both types of shoes are 50% off? Or just the cheaper ones? It sounds to me, that only the cheaper ones are on 50% sale, but not the more expensive ones. If that's the case, then your answer will be different. If my hunch is right, the total cost to her would be:($43 X 2) + ($36/2 X 2)=$122.00.
