How do I simplify
5x^4y^3/x^2y
thanks
= 5 x^(4-2) y^(3-1)
5 x^2 y^2
Is it right? I write my essay presenting the following result:
5x^4y^3/x^2y = 5x^2y^4
as y^3 multiplied by y^1 = y^(3 + 1) = y4
