Not  familiar  with  this  notation.....however....if it's supposed  to  be

 

(  n     )        we   have

  n - 2

 

                 n!

    (n - (n - 2)! (n - 2)!

 

 

                    n!

            ___________   =

               2!  ( n - 2)!

 

 

                n ( n - 1)

               ________
