sin A = 0.42

<A is an acute angle. Use a calculator to approximate the measure of <A.

Round to the next decimal place.

I don't understand what I need to do with this.

Thanks

Inverse trig is use to find angles.

Inverse trig is the same as arc trig  so on this calc you will use   asin

$$sin^{-1}(0.42)=asin(0.42)$$

$$\underset{\,\,\,\,^{\textcolor[rgb]{0.66,0.66,0.66}{360^\circ}}}{{sin}}^{\!\!\mathtt{-1}}{\left({\mathtt{0.42}}\right)} = {\mathtt{24.834\: \!587\: \!489\: \!702^{\circ}}}$$
