So...I'm guessing you want to find the sine of some angle in the first quadrant having a value of .45??

Using the sine inverse, we have

asin(.45)  = 26.7°

P.S....I think that "symbol" you're referring to might look like this ...θ......it's referred to as "theta" and usually represents some angle in trigonometry......
