No, you are right,it doesn't.
It gives 0.594 (to 3 dp)

so you have

sin(x) = 0.594

To solve for the angle you need to find inverse sine.

x = sin -10.594

and now you need to press 'shift' or '2nd' then sin.
And so long as your calc is set to degrees then you will get
36.4 degrees
