:? how do find the slope in this y=-5\2x-5 i need help

y=(-5/2)*x-5

slope: m = (-5/2) = -2.5

example:
x1 = 1
y1=(-5/2)*x1-5 = -7.5

x2 = 2
y2=(-5/2)*x2-5 = -10

m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1) = (-10--7.5)/(2-1) = -2.5 (check)
