How can i get the slope intercept

The slope intercept is most likely found before the x in an equation. The way i like to find the slope in a graph or equation is if in equation form, it is usaually before the x. in a graph however, find to different points in the graph and count the rise of how many "blocks" it takes to reach the same line as the other point, then count horizontally untill you reach the point. the two numbers you get as the rise above the run in fraction. you may also simplify this. Example: my two graph points are (2,0) and (2,6). i need to move up 1 unti to get to 3, then 6 to the right to get to 7. the slope is 1 over 3 1/3. Example 2: if an equation is in slope intercept form as y=3x-2, then the slope happens to be 3 because it is before the x. you may need to use a set of the ordered pairs to determine if you are correct. :)

Slope intercept form is the form of y = mx + b.

e.g.: y = 3x + 2 is in slope-intercept form.

2y = 3/2 x + 5 is not in slope-intercept form.

y = 3/4 x + 5/2 is the slope-intercept form for 2y = 3/2 x + 5.
