What is the slope represented by 1/8x+3y=3

lets see...

1/8x+3y=3

We turn it into linear by moving the variable and the number:

1/8x=3-3y

1/8x-3=-3y

then we turn the -3y into y:

-1/24+1=y !

slope (or gradient)=-1/24

 

(I don't know if I am  right.)
