So we  have

(1/2) (12)  ( 1 + 1.3)    *  4   =

6 ( 2.3)  *  4   =

24 * 2.3  =

55.2  m^3     =   55.2 * (1000 L)  =  55,200 L

b ) Time it takes to fill the pool   =    55,200  / 7.5   =  7360 min

2)  Cost

2.75   (55.2)  = 152.625  pounds

OK....this doesn't show up well for me

a)  (1/2) (12) ( 1.8 +1) * 4  =   6 (2.8) * 4  =  67.2 m^3  =  67,200 L

b )  67200/7.5  =  8960 min

c)  2.75 * 67.2  =  184.8  pounds
