Here's how it works, when you have 2 negative signs right next to eachother they turn into plus/posotive and you just add the numbers but remmber this only applies if you have two negative RIGHT next to each other x-(-y) but if you have something like -2-(-2), your answer would be 0 because you are adding becuse there are 2 negatives next to each other but that first 2 isn't corresponding with any other negative signs.
