a loading ramp is 25 m long with a height of 10 m. what is the horizontal distance of the ramp and what is the angle of incline that the ramp forms with the ground?

We know h the height and b base so we need the horizontal distance aka the hypotunuse

we do 10^2+25^2=725^2 so we square root 725 which gives us 27 to 2 significant figures

Then we use SOHCAHTOA to find theta or the angle between the hypotunuse and the adjacent

we use \(cos(\theta)=\frac{25}{27}\) we then use arccos to find the angle \(arccos(\frac{25}{27})=22.2\) degrees to 3 significant figures.
