l 4x - 1 l = 4

Note that  we just need to solve two equations here

4x - 1  = 4       and  -(4x - 1)  = 4  →  4x - 1  = -4

you just have to solve 2 equations 

4x-1=4  and   4x-1=-4

there will be 2 answers.
