Here's one way.

x^3 - x = 29

x(x^2 - 1) = 29

x^2 - 1 = 29/x

x = √(29/x + 1)

try x=3.1 and evaluate the RHS

now use that result and again evaluate the RHS

repeat a few more times ❇❇
