Some species of bamboo can grow 245 inches in a week. Write an equation relating the height of bamboo to he number of days. How much would a bamboo plant have grown after 3 days?
Thats easy...
First you find the constant rate of change (CROC)
The CROC is that the bamboo grows 35 inches a day.
So the equation would be y=35(x) with y= the hight of the bamboo and x= the # of days
After that you just plug in the number of days, in this case 3, instead of x and do the equation.
So... y=35*3
y=105
So after 3 days the bamboo would grow 105 inches!
And by the way in case you didnt notice the answers were in purple the whole time!
