Some species of bamboo can grow 245 inches in a week. Write an equation relating the height of bamboo to he number of days. How much would a bamboo plant have grown after 3 days?

Thats easy...

First you find the constant rate of change (CROC)

The CROC is that the bamboo grows 35 inches a day.

So the equation would be y=35(x) with y= the hight of the bamboo and x= the # of days

After that you just plug in the number of days, in this case 3, instead of x and do the equation.

So... y=35*3

         y=105

So after 3 days the bamboo would grow 105 inches!

And by the way in case you didnt notice the answers were in purple the whole time!
