Average rate of change =

 

[h(b) - h(a)] / [b - a]     where b = 11pi/6  and a = 2pi/3

 

[sin(11pi/ 6)  - sin (2pi/3)] / [ 11pi/ 6  - 2pi/ 3]  =

 

[ -1/2 - sqrt(3)/2] / [ 11pi/6 - 4pi/6]  =

 

[ -1 - sqrt(3)] /[ 2(7pi/6) ] =

 

- [ 1 + sqrt(3)] / [7pi / 3]  =

 

-3[1 + sqrt(3)] / [7pi] =

 

about -0.3727
