Hi, haven't taken a math course in ages and now i'm having to get rid of sin with some algebra
i'm at
59/100=sin(3x-Pi/2)
WHAT ON EARTH DO I DO NOW? I'm sure it's simple but i'm as rusty as I could be to still get into this class.
thanks!

59/100=sin(3x-Pi/2)
asin( .. ) on both sides
asin( 59/100 ) =asin( sin(3x-Pi/2) )
asin( 59/100 ) =3x-Pi/2
+Pi/2 on both sides
asin( 59/100 )+Pi/2 =3x-Pi/2+Pi/2
asin( 59/100 )+Pi/2 =3x
divide both sides by 3
(asin( 59/100 )+Pi/2)/3 =3x/3
(asin( 59/100 )+Pi/2)/3 = x
x = (asin( 59/100 )+Pi/2)/3
[inputrad](asin( 59/100 )+Pi/2)/3[/inputrad]
[inputrad]59/100=sin(3x-pi/2)[/inputrad]
