I'm having trouble with solving these physics assignments for school, it's about specific heat. Can someone help me?

In an electric waterboiler (2.0 Kw) 800 grams of water is warmed up from 12-100 degrees Celsius.
- 800 Grams of water
- 12-100 Celsius ( + 88 C)

Question: How long will it take the boiler to warm up the water. Assume that no heat is lost in the process.

Look up how many Joules are needed to warm 1 g water 1 degree.
Suppose y J
You will need totally 800 x 88 x y Joules = T Joules
1 Joule = 1 Ws
Divide T trough 2000 and you'll find the number of seconds.

As I remember this it will be about 10 minutes.
