Martin and Beryl run the same way around an 800m track. Martin passes Beryl at the 200m mark. Where d o they meet the next time?

Well.....assuming that they started from the same point at the same time......if they run the same way and Martin passes Beryl at the 200 m mark.....then Martin must run 800 + 200 = 1000m for every 200 m that Beryl runs.....In other words, Martin runs 5 times as fast as Beryl does
So......the next time they meet.......Beryl will have run 400 m while Martin will have run 2000 meters.....so they will meet at the 400 m mark, i.e, halfway round the track......
