Two cars are traveling in the same direction: one at 45 miles/hr and the other at 60 miles/hr. If the slower car is 30 miles ahead of the faster car, how long does it take the faster car to catch up with the slower car?
Note that every hour.....the faster car makes up 60 - 45 = 15 miles on the slower car
So.....to close a 30 mile gap it will take 30 / 15 = 2 hours
