I have the following story problem and I dont know how to solve it. Here it is:
You are tiling a room in your home that measures 18 feet long by 12 feet wide. Each square tile has an area of 324 square inches. What are the dimensions of a tile? How many tiles will you need to cover the floor? HELP PLEASE!!!

1ft=12inch

18ft=216inch
12ft=144inch
room's area = 216*144=644.972.544 square inches
So, if 1 tile is 324 square inches, you will need 644.972.544/324=1990656 tiles

tile's width = tile's length = sqrt(324)=18
so the tile is 18x18
