Side of square 1  = 1/2

Radius of circle 1    =    (1/2)sqrt(2) / 2  =  sqrt (2)/4

Side of square 2  =  1

Radius of circle 2 =  (1)sqrt (2) / 2

Area circle 2   /Area of circle 1   =  [ sqrt (2) / 2 ] ^2   / [ sqrt (2) / 4]^2   = 16 / 4  =  4 /  1
