The problem says:

Write y=2/3 x + 7 in standard form using integers.

How do I turn a fraction into an integer? At first I was thinking to multiply everything by the denominator (3), but I realized I can't really divide y by 3.

Standard form is Ax + By = C.....so....multiply through by 3....this gives

3y = 2x + 21     now.......subtract 3y and 21 from both sides...this gives

 - 21 = 2x - 3y  ..... or......2x - 3y = -21

And that's in standard form

All you need to do is convert 2/3 into an integer. You can do this by dividing 2 by 3 either on paper or with the site calculator. When you write down the answer you will need to know that when you have a repeating decimal, there is a line over the part that repeats.

Integers are whole numbers mathematician - negative or positive or 0

2/3 will not give you an integer!
