That IS the standard form for the equation of a line in the form   y = mx +b    where m = slope (-1/2) and b is the y-axis  intercept (10)...

 y = -1/2x+10     multiply both sides by 2

2y  = -1x + 20    add 1x to both sides

1x + 2y  = 20     this is S.F.     [  Ax + By  = C ]

Chris is correct on this one....

"Recall that the slope-intercept form of a line is: y = mx + b. To change this into standard form, we start by moving the x-term to the left side of the equation. This is done by subtracting mx from both sides. We now have the equation, -mx + y = b. "

(but the coefficients of x an y must be converted to integers....as Chris did)
