Rigid motion is something that preserves the size of an object. Think of a sheet of paper.  If you turn it or flip it over or move it it is essentially the same shape.  If you try to stretch the paper or fold it you change what the shape is so it is not a rigid motion. Since the two circles are not the same size then it is not a rigid motion.
