This is my second question. I believe I may be making these harder than they should be,
US mean cost per person 1033, random sample of 30 costs had mean value of 1123. Standard deviation =350. Do data support conclusion that random cost exceeded 1033? Perform required hypothesistest at 5% significance level.
I calculated the z value as 1.40 and corresponding P value of 0.9192 but do not know how to answer the question. Please help.
