6 (x+5) = 6 x+30:
36 (2 x-1) = 6 x+30+3 x

Grouping like terms, 6 x+3 x+30 = (3 x+6 x)+30:
36 (2 x-1) = (3 x+6 x)+30

3 x+6 x = 9 x:
36 (2 x-1) = 9 x+30

Expand out terms of the left hand side:
72 x-36 = 9 x+30

Subtract 9 x from both sides:
(72 x-9 x)-36 = (9 x-9 x)+30

72 x-9 x = 63 x:
63 x-36 = (9 x-9 x)+30

9 x-9 x = 0:
63 x-36 = 30

Add 36 to both sides:
63 x+(36-36) = 30+36

36-36 = 0:
63 x = 30+36

30+36 = 66:
63 x = 66

Divide both sides of 63 x = 66 by 63:
(63 x)/63 = 66/63

63/63 = 1:
x = 66/63

The gcd of 66 and 63 is 3, so 66/63 = (3×22)/(3×21) = 3/3×22/21 = 22/21:
Answer: x = 22/21
