If 3 cans of soup costs $0.99 than take $0.99 and divide it 3 ways.

0.99/3

That gives you the price-per-can. Then, to find how much 24 cans will cost, take the answer to the previous problem and multiply it by 24.

(0.99/3)x24

And that gives you the answer.

WOW! I must be half asleep or something! I'm soooo sorry, I made the equation for 24 cans of soup instead of 15.
