Two cubes of volumes 8cm^3 and 27cm^3 are glued together at their faces to form a solid with the smallest possible surface area. What is the number of square centimeters in the surface area of the resulting solid? please help thank you

Smaller cube area = 24 cm2                (Area of a single side = 4 cm2)

 

Larger cube area = 54 cm2

 

Area of a solid = 78 - 8 = 70 cm2
