All triangles have the same value, and all circles have the same value. What is the sum of two circles?
\(\circ + \circ + \Delta = 15\) \(\circ + \Delta + \Delta = 23\)
2x + y = 15 ⇒ y = 15 - 2x (1)
x + 2y = 23 (2)
Sub (1) into (2)
x + 2 ( 15 - 2x) = 23
-3x + 30 =23
-3x = -7
x = 7/3 = the value of one circle
So 2 circles = 14/3
