Hey Im having national tests in math tomorrow and I dont ounderstand how to use tan, sin and cos in triangels. and this is sertenly going to come questions about it tomorrow. Can some one please explain how to use them in the correct way?

Remember this mnemonic device SOH CAH TOA. You might be confused and and this in fact associated with trigonometry.

Soh stands for Opposite over hypotenuse, Cah stands for adjacent over hypotenuse, and lastly for Toa it is opposite over adjacent. Please remember this it will help. Hope ou do good on your nationals good luck !!! Oh yeah almost forgot the first three letters in the mnemonic device S,C, and T and are basically sine, cosine, tangent.
