if sin x = 0.6, write down the value of cos x?
can someone teach me the method? because i haven't learnt this yet
sin = y/ r = 0.6 = 6/10
cos = x / r and x = sqrt [ r^2 - y^2 ] = sqrt [ 10^2 - 6^2 ] = sqrt [ 100 - 36] = sqrt[ 64] = 8
So
cos = 8 / 10 or 0.8
