quadratic equations follow this formula ax^2 + bx + c , a>0 if it dosent follow this formula it isent a quadratic equation

zegoes is correct.....your function is linear.....it can be written in the form y= mx + b, i.e.,

y = x + 9

At least one of the "x's" in your original function would have to be squared in order to be quadratic.....
