W = L + 4   ...so......

(L)(L + 4) = 320  simplify

L^2 + 4L - 320 = 0      factor

(L - 16) (L + 20) = 0       and setting each factor to 0, we have that x = 16 or x = -20

Reject the negative

So,  L = 16   and W = L + 4 = 20
